I believe that kids should be allowed to have phones at any age.

First of all, it would get rid of kids asking for their parent’s phone. It’s probably annoying when you’re doing something and your kid starts asking you for your phone.

Second of all, if you want your kid to get off the phone at a certain time, you can add screen time. There are parental controls on the phone where you can set a time when the phone automatically turns off.

Lastly, if you are worried about money, you can get free phones that are just as good. You can also make a rule that if they can afford it, they can buy it.

As you can see, kids should be able to get a phone at any age.
